1. discussion with wounded soldiers sitting at table

stories of how they were wounded.
One said he wants to go back--his buddies are out there (another also said this)--
Not allowed to answer 'strategic" type questions.
Sad to say-but so far this conference seems like an effort to increase the idea that the war is great--We are doing the heroic thing (this is NOT to denograde these soldiers by any means).

2. they are all soldiers who will be on active duty after they recover

One said that insurgents they ran into were heavily armed.
