GW's Motivation: Crapping on his Father?
Ruins Iraq to get Saddam.

Slash n' Burn at the CIA.

Reckless taxcuts.

Is he just being the Anti-Dad? What gives.

4. Becomes like his daddy in order to destroy him?
:puke:

I bet at this year's Thanksgiving junior, Shrub gets the carving fork. ;) Senior is relegated to the kiddie's table. :)

6. Exactly.
Particularly this war in Iraq. I'll bet GW wanted Poppy to go "all in" on DS1, but cooler heads prevailed. Dimson wanted to prove to Dad how tough he was by taking out Saddam. Rather sad that this country could allow a pschologically crippled neer-do-well to ever get behind the wheel of the Presidency.

3. interesting..........
My thing is why every time a guy wants approval from his "daddy" the world has to pay for it. :( Women don't try to destroy the world whenever they have a tiff with Mom. ;)

Cripes, this macho power game is getting stale. :eyes: :(

8. i have always thought that this war was really to avenge bush sr.
Bush jr seems to have a need to make daddy proud. His father has been successful at most things he has done but jr. has failed at pretty much everything he has ever done. He wants to show his dad that he can get saddam and also that he got a 2 term presidency.
I thought from the beginnig that george was avenging his daddy becasue daddy failed to get saddam and saddam put like a hit out on george sr.
my son made the following slogan
"we want Osama, not your daddy's drama"

meaning osama was who we were after not saddam.
