So I called my congressman's office today...
to find out if he (Christopher Cox)was one of those who voted in favor of changing the rules so that Tom Delay could keep his leadership position if he was indicted. A very nice lady answered the phone and after I asked my question she asked if it would be okay to put me on hold so that she could find out. After waiting a few minutes she came back on the line and asked for my contact information - apparently because Mr. Cox likes to reply to his constituents personally. So then she asks me for my phone number - so I ask her, what, is he going to call me? She said he might. So I gave her my number. Then she asked me what my opinion was on the issue so I of course told her I thought it was completely wrong, pretty freaking hypocritical and a blatant abuse of power. Anyway, if I hear back from him I'll be sure to post his response.

3. This is not the first time I've contacted CC
A couple of years ago I, swear to god, got a 4 page letter from him in response to an e-mail I sent and it wasn't a form letter. And yes, when I gave my name, I was already listed in his database.

4. While you're at it
ask him what really happened during that meeting he attended with Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz on the morning of 9-11, while they ignored an ongoing terrorist attack.
