Is * well on his way to being the dictator he has longed for?
Seems he hasn't lost anytime seizing power on all fronts. His marginal "win" has made him even more arrogant, if that is possible. What really frosts my butt, is that he knows he stole this election through whatever means and he is rubbing it in the faces of the 49% who wanted him the hell out of office! He is laughing at us, while giving working class Americans, including those who voted for him, a royal screwing! We know it, the "value voters" don't, yet!

1. Yes
I had an exchage with one of them, and I told him

Teh election was not between a corrupt demcrat and a corrupt republican... it was between the choice of Republic or Empire. You chose Empire and like many in Ancient Rome you may live to regret that vote... and I surely hope you do.

2. Hitler was elected, too.
And there was the Reichstag Fire (9/11?), and the Night of the Long Knives (the CIA purge?), and then there was Kristallnacht (will there be "sanctioned" hate crimes vs. gays?). Hitler had Leni Riefenstahl; Bush has the entire cable news media. I don't think the comparison is over the top at all.

8. I can visualize that without actually doing it.
I remember so clearly on 12/18/00, watching him on C-SPAN with members of both the House and Senate, saying how he might have to "knock heads" to get things done, and "how it would be easier if this were a dictatorship, so long as he was the dictator." Yuck Yuck Yuck! And that wasn't the first time I had heard him say that! Yeah, real funny Chimpy!

15. Sometimes a sharpie trumps visualization...
The fact that it came out even worse than I expected threw me. I couldn't even touch the magazine after that. I showed it to 2 friends and threw it away. Face down.

My local paper had the Shrub th three-quarters profile with a gold-plated presidential seal behind him, looking every bit like the aura that Orthodox Christians paint around the heads of Jesus and the Saints (and Medieval catholics used to do). I took a sharpie and wrote "DCLXVI" right across his forehead!

We are watching a replay of history, with the exception that gays and liberals will be playing the role of jews in this one.

26. they will continue with fake elections to keep the mobs at bay
Look at what just happened. Everybody thinks we had an honest election, so everybody is accepting it quietly.

They will continue to do this down the road, of course.

24. I only envy you if I can get around the )(*^&($ mountain cedar
pollen.

I could NEVER live in the Hill Country.

When that stuff starts blowing up here around end of Nov, I start sneezing and don't stop until February.

Twice I have had pneumonia from secondary infections.

And I am normally quite healthy.

But Austin is such a neat city!!!!! I do like to visit it

for him still are! Just proves to me that they are all a ignorant as I thought they were. I guess when all the people who make less that $200,000 a year are rounded up and put in some kind 'poor folks' work camps, they'll see the error of their misplaced trust.
