consumerism/religion/fear are the best narcotics. we remain docile so long as we chase a nonexistent american dream.

oh, but we are "free."

then why is our press censored? why does the u.s. seem more and more like the former soviet union? why do i have to read european newspapers to know what is going on in this country?

they (you know who THEY are - THEY are monolithic, THEY are in the pockets of corporate lobbyists, THEY want bush) increase their hegemony by keeping us distracted. keep us on our toes while we tread water to keep from drowning in debt.

They blame:

The blacks

the mexicans

the iraqis

al quaida

the poor

the welfare mothers

the immigrants

the gays

the liberals

the liberal media

the cartoon dictators and false enemies.

then we blame ourselves because we "lost" the election. the evident REALITY of widespread voter fraud becomes just one more conspiracy theory they can use against us.

debate nowadays is just trying to see who is more right wing than the other.

this country makes me sick.
