WV is getting Electronic Voting machines so I guess I'll have to start a battle here to get the people to listen and become educated on the travails of E-voting.
My first step was to send an email to Alan Waldman, asking him to send his article "Was It Hacked?" to WV newspapers. Hopefully some of them will print it. It is an excellent article detailing the election rip-off. I provided the address and phone numbers and websites to some of the newspapers, and websites to the rest of the papers I could find.
"WAS IT HACKED?"
http://www.orlandoweekly.com/news/Story.asp?ID=4688I am going to send the article to the senators and reps on the federal and especially the state level.
Here's my email to Alan Waldman:
I just read your article, "Was the Vote Hacked?" in the Orlando Weekly News. It is excellent, because it lists the problems in a precise and easy to read order. It is very good.
I would like to ask you to submit this article to the newspapers in WV, because the state is getting ready to buy electronic voting machines. We still use punch cards in my district. I've included the contacts and websites for some of the newspapers in WV.
Even though this state voted for bush, the state level of government is controlled by the Democrats, but unfortunately the Secretary of State was won by an unknown republican (against a popular Democrat). This was a big surprise to almost everyone. We all know what happens when a republican is elected to this position.
I think your article would help open the eyes of the Democrats in office here, because first and foremost it would make them a little anxious about their job security.
Thank you,
Amelia Whittington
