I lost some respect for Clinton when the Monica thing hit. I have regained all respect for him now, plus more; because, unlike * , he admits he made a personal mistake.

In fact. if it weren't for this one misadventure, Gore would never run his campaign away from Clinton, would not have been so close in the vote that Chimpus Khan could steal it, and today we'd be basking in Gore's reelection. Ahhhh ... what might have been.

I thought he was great. IMO ALL Dems need to respond strongly like this. His message was very firm & clear & uncompromising but he was still calm & didn't say anything out of line. I'm sick & tired of Dems whimping out and "being polite" or "uniting" or whatever lame excuse they're giving today. We need to stick to our principles, tell it like it is without sugar coating the truth & not back down to these thugs.

Clinton sounded like he was about to slap that little media whore's face off. I wish he would have.

Right there is the the best example of stature. Clinton, standing tall and defending what he believes, vs. that little pissant Jennings who couldn't wait to skulk back to the latest celebrity trial.
