Boxer and Feingold..the way to go?
Well everyone, in reading more about our senate elections I now believe I was wrong. I advocated for becoming more centrist recently, but I think that was a mistake. Feingold and Boxer two PROUD TO BE LIBERALS got re-elected by wide margins. Perhaps these two along with Kennedy should be calling the shots at the DNC and not the Clinton's, Lieberman, and Reid...

1. Not good examples

I don't know about Feingold, but Boxer basically ran unopposed here
in CA. I didn't see even ONE TV ad for her repuke opponent. Not
one. Boxer only ran a few ads... basically I think the repukes
decided not to contest this one, preferring to go after people like
Daschle. So it's not surprising that she won big.

If she had run against the gropenator, I wonder what would have
happened. I believe she would still win, but I wouldn't bet the
ranch on it.
