A Modest Proposal: Move the Web Offline (into audio)
(1) Take the "best of" blog entries (for example, the left-hand column at http://www.daoureport.com)...

(2) Read them out loud, record them, upload to the web...

(3) Download the "best of" these readings, burn CDs, make cassettes...

(4) Distribute this audio all over town.

(5) Let the listeners vote on what they like best - incorporate the feedback - return to step (1) and repeat.

This will neutralize right-wing talk radio.

2. It's called r a d i o.
You can listen for free. You can buy a device for a few bucks.

Support your progressive shows and your community stations. No money? Call 'em up and see if they need some volunteer hours.
