Cheney, Plame and the Electoral College

I doubt that Patrick Fitzgerald pays much heed to the electoral calendar. But a scenario in which Cheney is indicted -- or named as an unindicted co-conspirator -- before the Electoral College meets in mid-December does not seem implausible. Methinks the White House is desperate to get through the EC process before the grand jury tells us what it has learned about the backstage maneuvering of the Dick, Scooter & Karl Show.
