I've just now watched the "new" version of the Mosh video
I don't think I'm an overly emotionial sort. But my throat clinched up and tears started running down my cheek. And I've never even been much of an Eminem fan. But that's some powerful stuff. (Or I'm an easily manipulated fool.)

Is Eminem really serious about this stuff, or is it just a stunt for publicity? Seemed to me it was a serious as it could be.

5. I AM an Eminem fan
and this isn't a stunt at all. He really believes all of this and is fighting like Michael Moore, Howard Stern, Linda Rondstadt and any other citizen who sees what's going on and has a powerful enough voice to make a difference.

This isn't the first time he was anti-bush either. Listen to "White America" on his last CD. He knows what is up.

6. I cried too
There's something very sad with the way they showed Kerry and Edwards having tears running down their faces.
Maybe I'm a sap...but that got me.

They're storming the capital.

I love that show. Is Eminem trying to be a political leader?

7. Why would he not be serious?

I understand why people don't like Eminem. At one point I hated him. Just flat out dismissed him as another money-grubbing punk who still couldn't buy a clue.

And then I heard an interview with Michael Moore in which he expressed his admiration for him. I thought, "Huh?" but I decided to take a second look. I read some lyrics, tried to look past what the media was telling me to believe, etc. I eventually altered my opinion significantly. No, I don't like everything he does or says, but it is important to note that the negative news about him comes from the very same people that tell us people like Shrub are good Christians. Think about it.

Anyway, yes, he's serious from what I can tell. His background has made him one pissed off individual, and he has every reason to be. As we should know, money doesn't change that. He's had a few breaks in life, and he knows he had those breaks, and he appreciates them. But the background is still there. He hasn't forgotten it.

8. Definitly serious
I've liked Eminem since back in the days... i listen to mostly underground hip hop, which is FILLED with political music and anti-bush shit.

On his last album he had a song called Square Dance with one verse saying:

Let your hair down to the track, yeah kick on back
The Boogiemonster of rap, yeah the man's back
with a plan to ambush this Bush administration
Mush the Senate's face in, push this generation
of kids to stand and fight for the right to say somethin
you might not like, this white hot light
that I'm under, no wonder I look so sunburnt
Oh no I won't leave no stone unturned
Oh no I won't leave, won't go nowhere
Do-si-do, oh-yo-ho, hello there
Oh yeah, don't think I won't go there
Go to Beirut and do a show there
Yeah you laugh till your motherfuckin ass gets drafted
While you're at band camp thinkin the crap can't happen
'Til you fuck around, get an anthrax napkin
Inside a package wrapped in Saran Wrap wrappin
Open the plastic and then you stand back gaspin
Fuckin assassins, hijackin Amtraks, crashin
All this terror, America demands action
Next thing you know, you've got Uncle Sam's ass askin
to join the Army or what you'll do for their Navy
You just a baby, gettin recruited at eighteen
You're on a plane now, eatin their food and their baked beans
I'm twenty-eight, they gon
take you 'fore they take me
Crazy insane, or insane crazy?
When I say Hussein, you say Shady
My views ain't changed, still inhumane, wait
Arraigned two days late, the date's today, hang me!
