It was heartbreaking listening to Alcee Hastings, Shirley Jackson Lee, and Barney Franks report on the theft that is going on right now - a theft against the citizens. As pointed out by Franks, when passed, Bush has 10 (20?) days to study (lol-study) it and Democrats are not getting 20 minutes to read it. They were locked out. This, my friends, is b-partisan representation brought to you by thieves.

I was struck by the fact that each one was only allowed to talk for a specified period of time. I understand they have to have rules to follow, but three minutes to discuss your opposition to what is going on???
