DUCK & COVER! | terrorists are not scary enough anymore...

I'm sure most of DU has been watching the nuclear drumbeat escalate over the last week. Look at the stories:

IRAN has nukes!
NORTH KOREA has nukes!
RUSSIA is making new nukes!
OBL has Allah's permission to use nukes!
Some people say that nukes will be smuggled over the Mexican border!

Does anyone doubt that the corporate overloads of bushco will INSIST on being the first to use them? (to protect freedom and keep gays from marrying)

once again, bushco has no real choice. they have utterly played out the TERROR threat with bogus alerts (and otherwise total failure).

to increase the FEAR, they must increase the THREAT. and, since they don't 'do' the diplomacy thing... who can really doubt that there are forces just 'dying' to put all those lovely 'tactical' nukes to use?

1. So how do you think they'll pick? Actually choose a location or just
throw a dart at a map? I'm leaning toward the dart/map theory cuz then it would be as well planned as every other move they have made.

2. Iran
even they aren't crazy enough to hit NK (one hopes)

but, Israel is already threatening an attack on Irani nuke sites. don't look for the chimp to miss out on a chance to blow things up to pave the way for FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY!

4. I was really disappointed in C-span the other day
they read a AP report right off the wire about some other such country having nukes, or trying to get them, or thinking about getting them, or thinking about thinking about it or something, it looked like they were playing into it as well.

I am sad to say that Bush would probably use them. Even worse, he won't have the slightest validity of reason like a WW or something.

6. what's troubling is
no one is putting all the stories TOGETHER...

NUKE is re-entering the propaganda mill and it will be BEYOND what we remember...

they need increased FEAR to hold power. i don't like it.
