of dead bodies... and first person accounts of babies being plucked from moms and thrown into fires, children shot in schools, country villages bombed. How can the rest of the world sit by and watch?

1. Yeah, and NPR did a story on this on thurs or fri morning...
I have been shaking my head ever since.

The reporter was talking about how a peace settlement was in the works for the southern region of sudan. "oh, but they were stuck on this one little itty bitty, almost irrelevant minor detail". The resistance wanted the govt to open the records on oil revenues for the last several years. Just a MINOR freaking detail.

2. Just to see all those women in those colorful dresses walking down a
dusty road to nowhere, kids in tow, giving first person accounts... I mean how can the news go on and on about the outrageous NBA fistfight while this is going on?

3. I saw it

4. Sorry we Americans are BUSY!
We've got Starbucks to slurp, mall grazing to do,
not to mention our own crisis, what with Scott Peterson
and gay people trying to get married.
Sudan? Where is that anyway?
What's that you say? Brown people land?
FORGET it!
sarcasm off-
