So, you may think that is a little whacked...but hang with me on this.
I was raised on Macs...ever since the famous 1984 Superbowl commercial (which still wins awards, I have come to see my Macs as more than just a tool...I see it as an extension of who I am.
Since getting a job with a corporation recently, I have had to learn how to use a PC...I'm none too pleased. It feels like I am using a Yugoslavian portable vacuum cleaner (remember Saturday Night Live skit of the seventies????).
For me...corporate America runs like a PC....cheap, with little or no nuance...it is what it is. Great for counting beans.
One the other hand, the Mac is an elegant system...intuitive and pleasing to the eye. It's almost like comparing a Frank Lloyd Wright design to an elector set.
Anyway... I've always had this notion that Mac users are (for the most part), the creative types ....those that use mostly the right side of their brain...they also tend to be Democrats. While the PC is mostly "analytical," black and white....to the point...more suited to Republicans.
Any thoughts???
