This is part of an email from someone who is actually over there and has been all her life. I don't defend what she says as I feel she's a bit paranoid, but at the same time I can't totally discount what she says because she's no raving lunatic. Oh, and if you want to bitch about her English, well, she could have written to me in French or German or Spanish as well and migh have been more fluent in one of those other languages, but she was trying to communicat with someone from the most monolingual country in the world:
