C-Span's "balance" Richard Miniter vs. CIA's 'Anonymous'
What a fucking joke. Miniter is the biggest Bush ass kisser and Clinton hatchet man around, and then the host tries to say we'll hear "both sides" by having on Michael Scheuer, who isn't one bit a partisan. Reminds me of MSRNC, CNN, FAUX's debate panels... One nonpartisan journalist vs. a 2 partisan conservatives.

1. Sadly, I have had to put C-SPAN on my DO NOT WATCH LIST
Edited on Wed Nov-24-04 07:55 AM by proudbluestater
I'm down to two cable networks for news now on my Dish. Link TV has Democracy Now and Free Speech TV has the same show, plus other progressive shows. If I want to just read new, I go to Reuters.

What the hell happened to C-SPAN? I have noticed this more and more. One day John Edwards was speaking and honest to God, they had to cut away to Newt Gingrich????? WTF??

They seem to be loving the neocons, too, see them on there a LOT.

What is this strange new place they call America?

2. Minotaur is a goofy bassturd
He claims to have not voted rep in 2000 or anytime, but never mentions 2004. Claiming he is reporting what the word is in 15? nations. His world is very strange. One caller shot him down as the reason dems hate all neocons.

3. I have no problem with this line up.
Why does it have to be a partisan vs. a partisan? Why shouldn't it be a guy who's a terrifically informed insider against a partisan? Who would you rather see?

5. Interesting point.
In fact, Michael is a very conservative fellow who has an open mind. So, while it is a one-sided discussion, Scheuer exposes the weaknesses of the Bush administration (and supporters) in a manner that is different than a democrat might. I'd be comfortable putting Scheuer against a panel of Bush "experts," as long as he had a fair amount of time to speak, because he is not only smarter than they are, he is right, and they are wrong.

4. The folks the White House trot out to try and convince the
people in the United Stated that junior is a good man doing the right thing is a joke. Do a goggle on Richard Miniter and find for yourself just how bias this man is! He hates Clinton! C-span has indeed been promoting this administrations propaganda as of late. If it keeps up they'll soon lose another viewer.
