I have a feeling one of the exclusively invited fund managers heard the word "Armageddon" just in time to look up from his sports page and invent whatever story he wanted to take away with him, and feed to the Herald reporter.
Yes, the twin deficits are awful and they threaten our well-being, but the money of mine that's not already hedged against a plunging dollar is betting that the story is sensationalized beyond proportion by the Boston Herald.
I look forward to (again) hearing Roach himself on the matter.
P.S. - as pointed out in another post, Roach gave the max to Kerry last year. So did PIMCO's Paul McCulley. Money guys aren't all ignorami.
