I confess, I did it!!!!

I'm watching a repeat of The Daily Show from 11/10/2004, with the article on John Asscroft's resignation.

Jon showed a clip of Asscroft singing, and I finally realized: what greater weapon for getting information out of dissidents than to have Asscroft singing to prisoners in interrogation? A completely infallible method of gathering intel, and nary a bruise mark or sign of physical abuse on any of them! The only ones it might not work on would have to be deaf.

The possibilities that Asscroft is opening up for his future in Inquisition-like sessions is phenomenal. Shoot, I almost confessed to a dozen things even during those short clips on TDS! Hell, I almost confessed to things I had no way of doing!

I think that might be considered torture under the Geneva Conventions article X

Article X: Prisoners of war may not be subjected to loud music, bright lights, or music by Yanni, Kenny G, or John Ashcroft.
