2. I call them the radical fringe of the Republican party.
They are not mainstream Republicans, they are not moderates by any means. If anything, "reactionary" is probably more the correct term to apply to these moral pogosticks and spendthrifts.

Although I'll admit, "regressive" is quite correct.

It makes perfect sense to call them regressives. that is what they are, so I will start calling them that.

If there is one thing I'm good at, it is being opinionated. Maybe even a little loud an obnoxious, as well It is my Irish ancestors. My hubby is Polish and he gets so offended by how loud and animated we are, but we all know it is harmless!

Instead of "conservative christian" we can say "regressive puritan".
