just said good bye to my buddy leaving for iraq

army reserves, served 8 months, home for two weeks, back to iraq for 4 more months. i am sad. he is sad. his wife and child are sad. this sucks.

I am sorry for him, his friend and his family.

My daughter's fiance is coming home from Germany for two weeks over Christmas then he leaves for active duty for 8 months.

I really hate this crap.
