I'm just typing here.
Dan Rather as I become to know you as a friend and someone I trust I would like to have you at at our Christmas gathering, (large family)Please don't stop now, I know you are getting old but so are we, "I know you were set up (to silence you"(as was done with Jesse Jackson earlier on") but please Dan don't. Our country needs you now more than ever. And you my friend have a great thanksgiving. We love you out here.

He will continue to host and report on 60 minutes II, so we should still have Dan around to inform and to explain

And, yes, he is getting old. Just turned 73 so he deserves to be able to slow down.
