Petitions, shmetitions
and how short I am with freepers....

We went to teh store to get a new cable for my puter and a game for hubby (he got a job). Anyway outside is this guy asking for signatures to get a petition to get parental consent for abortions for those under 18... well I barked, and I mean BARKED

NO!!!!!!!!!!

The guy did not even finish his statement, he was at first bafled that I barked... after all how many people know what he is pedling? Most do not... then he said, "You don't have to byte my head off!"

Well I am very short with these people and proves once again what is broken in the system. These petitions were originally done by volunteers who actually believed in the cause. These days people are paid for them...

Still I knwo what is wrong withthe petition and know I will vote against it... but it is the ... my, my I just want to get my cable not to have anybody shove these things in my face... especially a right wing cause.

My hubby said, yes, you did bark.

Well I have no patience for these people

Now I wonder if he was shocked that somebody was willing to ahem, bark.... food for thought, his body language betrayed surprise and a tad of fear.
