A deep, festering curse, not only on America, but on all of humanity. It's the absolute sense of entitlement, that the ends justify the means, that nothing is too horrific if it helps line their pockets--even if it means making a profit from death camp labor or letting some planes fly into buildings.

Bush's fortunes seem inversely proportional to the world's fortunes. The more personal success Bush has, the more hardship, failure, and tragedy is visited upon the world.

Consider...

- Bush wins the White House- The economy craps out.
- America is attacked - Bush's approval ratings soar.
- Iraq and the American economy are a mess - Bush wins the White House again.

need to reach a Momemnt of Revulsion similar to the one in the Army-McCarthy hearings when the counsel for the Army asked Joe McCarthy " have no decency, Sir, at long last?".It seems we have not reached it yet.I hope we do soon.
