Ohio Unemployment Rises
TOLEDO -- The unemployment rate is going up in Ohio. The new numbers are out and Ohio had more people out of work in October than any other state.

The number of people out of work went up from 354,000 in September to 373,000 in October. The news of more people being out of work has some shop employees worried.

Well Ohio may not have any jobs but at least they are one step closer to getting rid of gay marriage.
Congratulations

12. unfortunately some people
Like my brother blame Taft for the unemployment rate instead of * since it is Ohio that has the highest rate. Of course before that it was Clinton's fault. Some people you can't reason with.

4. I would like to say I feel sorry for them. BUT since Nov 2
When I hear of anyone loosing their job, The first question from my mouth, "Who did you vote for?"
Not much remorse anylonger! This is what the fools wanted.

5. I feel bad for the liberals there !
I know and knew many liberals/progressives in Ohio.
Unfortunately, I am living in a very blue county in
a red state and I know what it feels like.

:(

16. of course, it's not fair that they should have to pay for the ignorance of
others. supposedly WA is a blue state, but we seem to be getting redder judging by this close guv race, with only 42 votes separating the candidates. I'm so grateful I live in the bluest city in the state, and breathed a sigh of relief upon zooming out of freepy rural Whatcom yesterday {shudder}

6. At least we people here in Franklin county
voted Democratic that's more than I can say for most of the rest of the state.

Yes, I I hope the bush voters are happy with what that got, cause I think it's only going to get worse.

13. Summit County, black and blue
We also went BLUE, and we have to suffer the unemployment as much....no more...than the RED parts of the state.

I'd bet the three highest unemployment numbers are in the northeast; Stark, Summit, Lorain and Cuyahoga counties.

9. Summit County has been Blue forever. We did our part.
The majority of people here wouldn't have given Bush the time of day. But we're still paying for his actions anyway. What can you do?

14. My sympathy to all the unemployed and newly unemployed folks
in Ohio (and the rest of the country) that voted for Kerry. They didn't deserve this...

I however have no sympathy for any of the unemployed and newly unemployed folks that voted for Bush....As far as I am concerned, they got what they deserved - sadly they had to take the rest of us down with them, along with our country, its constitution, its environment and world peace.

:grr:
