And now Murder.......What a horrible year !
Edited on Sat Nov-27-04 09:49 PM by vetwife
In case some of you have not seen me posting, it is because a beautiful young lady who was like my daughter was murdered two weeks ago by a stalker. But he has not been arrested. For five years she was part of this family. She and my son had a tift and she left and as always they were broke and she went to her sister's. She met up with some old friends turned really bad. Both she and my son had too much pride but everyone knew they would go back together. He has been out of work for so long and things get really bad. Some old friends of her introduced her to a really crazy and on rebound she got involved. My son and her had not talked in months. She called here a couple of times and I thought she was happy. He was depressed because he loved her so, but he just kept helping me and my husband build a basement and take care of my Blind Father, something she had done for years. Help me with him, and shaving him.

She was like a butterfly and had been diagnosed with problems of neurosis and anxiety..chemical imbalance. No insurance...No healthcare....No help. I tired to get her help. She helped me so much with veterans issues. My son is beside himself...We are watching him as he is really off the deep end over all of this as we are pretty close as well. No one has made an arrest in Alabama even knowing that this nut had beat viciously her and her new friend who was 67, then his mother ran over the old person with a car. no arrests. The old fellow was teaching her property management. She was trying to get away from the maniac. She wanted to get her life together she told her brother so she and my son could have a fresh start and at least she could find work. This guy I believe is a skin head and she had multiracial family members.
We got the call. She and the friend and that is all he was were found with multiple gunshot wounds to the head....three days after the incident. No arrests.
I need your prayers and I want justice. I want this Mother and son Grifter Team brought to Justice. They killed my best friend, have traumatized my family and destroyed my son. If there is any one who can push Alabama Bureau of Investigation on the Cleburne County Murders...Please advise. I plan on pushing real soon !

Villa Rica woman found shot to death

The Associated Press
Authorities questioned several people in the slayings of an Alabama man and a Villa Rica woman in a rural mobile home near Ranburne, Ala., but made no immediate arrests.
Cleburne County Sheriff Joe Jacks said the bodies of Billy Wayne Fordham, 67, the home`s owner, and 27-year-old Chenda Cheri Blair of Villa Rica were discovered Wednesday in the residence on Cleburne County Road 682.

Coroner Rudy Rooks said both victims had been shot multiple times in the head and may have been dead for at least two days.

Jacks said the motive for the murders was not immediately clear, but several people have been questioned. No charges were immediately filed.
Court records show that Fordham had a criminal history including a felony marijuana conviction in 1992. He was arrested in 2001 on a felony charge of discharging a firearm into an occupied building, but that charge was dropped.

...............................................................

I have so many questions..What the Heck was a x felon doing with a firearm and even shooting it off in public? Was it a set up? What the heck was going on. Family members have told us that nobody was going to fool with a girl who has been on drugs and this old felon. They probably were not worth anyone's time. I was infuriated. Why had the cops not arrested this guy who had threatned half of ther family...WHY !!!!! WHY!!!!! I bet I get answers !

22. You could have ignored this thread instead of being cruel.
Many murders across the country are not given the same time or effort by police as the "spectacular" cases shown on cable news. Feel lucky, if you are fortunate enough to have never dealt with this.

27. thank you Kolezar..My point exactly...Had she been a heavy contributor
to a political campaign, other than 25.00 here and there....More of the people in power would be aggresively making something happen. I know they are not doing what they should or they would have talked to more people..LIKE US...who have known her for 5 years. They talked to her brother and 3 family members and this guy. Every single person said they KNEW this guy did it and couldn't prove it..She had been stalked for a month ! They had received threats.

As far as the Jerk up aobve's post. I can't believe he didn't vote Bush. Sounds so compassionate. Here is the first time in weeks that I felt like talking to my DU Friends and has no idea how hard I have worked on equal rights. She is no different from Peterson.
No different from any 9-11 victim. Brutal Murder is Brutal Murder. If he can't undersstand that and my trying to take it to Congressional leaders for action, then he is too stupid to post. This guy is out there and too many people are screaming DO SOMETHING ..Bring him in.....

You are a piece of work ! If you are in Law Enforcement..I would love to be your dispatcher for just one day. I think you know how much I would run your butt around on bogus calls ! And more......A cop may do the work but the one one the other end of the radio tells him whether or not he is in danger. You can go straight to Hell ! Since when Know it all have you been on C-Span, or been to The VP's home? I am no nut ..I am distraught and you can just keep your stupid mouth shut ! I am probably one of the most political people on this board...Maybe that is your real problem !

25. Re: Contacting the Attorney General
Edited on Sat Nov-27-04 10:57 PM by stavka
The Attorney General's offices duties are defined as " The Attorney General is a constitutional officer whose duties and powers are set out in Title 36, Chapter 15, of the Code of Alabama (1975). As the State's attorney, he provides legal representation for the State of Alabama, its officers, departments, and agencies. The Attorney General defends the State in all lawsuits in which the State is named as a defendant. He represents the State in all court proceedings wherein the constitutionality of a state statute is challenged.

In addition to defending the State, the Attorney General may initiate court action, both civil and criminal, to protect the State's interests or to enforce State law. The Attorney General represents the State in all criminal actions in the appellate courts of the State of Alabama and in habeas corpus proceedings in the federal courts. He has the authority to superintend and direct the prosecution of any state criminal case.

The Attorney General issues legal advice in the form of formal or informal written opinions to authorized public officials and agencies."

You may wish to instead contact the Alabama DPS through their website at http://www.dps.state.al.us/ -or- contact the FBI through your attorney if you believe the ADPS is corrupted.

Given, you are anonymous, I'm sure I could provide local law enforcement alternatives as well as local ACLU contacts, but I understand from your posting why the whole of the executive branch of the Federal/State/and local government is suspect.

I am happy you are able to work through your grief to have such a personal interest in my postings, that is a very positive developement for only four hours of thought. Funnel that energy into positive action!

Did you ever stop to think, you poor excuse for a Democrat, that sharing heartaches on an electronic board can ease one's pain? It is totally appropriate to come to this board and be among friends, when grieving. I have never witnessed such a lack of compassion in my life. You do belong on the * side. They need more folks like you over there.

29. So this is what compassionate conservatism feels like....
:wow:

As for what somebody who is distraught should be doing with their time, your narrow definition leaves out the fact that this is not just a political board but a community--where people make friends. But I'm sure that's a foreign concept to someone who calls someone's sharing a personal tragedy a "soap opera."

People like you are the reason why this country is in so much trouble now.

20. thank you all of you...
My poor blind Daddy today was very close to her and we had to change his clothes twice. My son has been in grief and today at the grave, he took his roses and just lost it ! Well me being the Mama I am I clung to my husband who as always stands so strong in time of crisis, his tears flowing as he like the rest of us loved her dearly. They always went back together and were like kids but now she is gone from our lives forever. I have been on like...suicide watch for one week. God I am so tired of fighting battles that rip my heart. I know one thing, I am terribly afraid. Her family is hardworking poor folks but they are all armed now. We had to hold our son who is very passive from bolting to the car to look for this maniac. He too would have died, I fear. Paranoid? No I know my family. I will go to the attorney general of Alabama if need be.
This feels like a nightmare. Thank you for all of your prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you tonight.

From someone who understands what you are going through as my mother was brutally murdered twelve years ago by two drug crazed teenage girls. The trauma seems unbearable but as you move forward it will get easier.

Factually, even though the police and we knew the perpetrators, it still took a couple or three weeks before the actual arrests were made.
The case has to be built to the point to whereas all the evidence is collected, etc.
Don't expect them to give you much info either until the arrests are made.

Don't give up hope on your law enforcement officials to do the job they are paid to do and I'm sure they understand the brutality as much as others in your community feel the pain.

It's tough..but hang in there and cry alot to help with the grief.

God Bless

They told her Dad that there was no evidence. We couldn't believe that. My God Ballistics should have evidence. Fingerprints? Another thing..The Guy does live in Georgia but the murder was in Alabama..Why are the FBI not involved? This is all I am saying. Yeah the Murder happened in Alabama but the guy is in Georgia. or at least the GBI and they flat said the Sheriff's dept and the ABI were the only agencies involved. This is why we are confused.

Sorry Evening for your loss.

to the perpetrators.

Not in law enforcement myself, so can't give you any ideas on what to do but my guess is you won't get much out of them at all while the investigation is in progress. My experience and most frustrating part was this phase as they would not say anything to anybody about where they were in the investigation. Very frustrating indeed..not knowing.

Maybe someone else here can eventually give you some ideas

Most people know me for my work for veterans and doin interviews on Womens Rights and even a CD I put on (Narration) on how this administration was making us all less safe. I have always had courage but this time, after receiving death threats and all for my work and dissent, I got guilt ridden and skiddish. I know I can't save the world...I know I take a lot on with the help of a lot of people right here on the board....I also know we live in the deep south where guns are as plentiful as meals. I have many friends on here and I think You are a new one. 45. Tragic
I am so sorry to hear about your family's loss. I remember lurking here and reading your posts about veteran issues. I even went to your website a few times. I liked what you had to say. I also remember the kindness you showed when another Du'er lost her husband in a car accident. I wish you had the same response she did, but it seems some people here have just become too caustic for their own good.

With all the goodness you bring into the world, I hope some will return your way!

I am sure I don't have to say this, but you may want to attend a group for people who have lost one to violence that may help you and your son. Make sure he gets some professional one-on-one help!

I wish you the best in these difficult times!

Many of us will hold good thoughts for you in the coming days!

Brightest Blessings!
