Boondocks breaking down the rigged election, comic style
I love Aaron Mc Gruder, I love him!

Boondocks has consistantly been the best strip since it came out, although I disagree sometimes, at least Huey always gets it right.

6. It sucks.
Our local toilet-paper replacement--the Wichita Eagle--refuses to run Boondocks. They'd much rather run Xtian-friendly crap like the family circus and 40-year-old Peanuts reruns.

It's sickening. They don't even print doonesbury in color on sundays.

8. I'm a great fan of Aaron McGruder's Boondocks
When the LA Times started running the strip, it took me awhile to understand -- but by the time of 9-11 Huey had me.

A couple of weeks after 9-11 Huey and the little guy with the dreadlocks were discussing Bush's opinion that we were all supposed to get back to normal. "And what do I normally do?" demanded Huey. "Criticize Bush," his pal said.

Yup.

10. Reminds me of the young, cynical years in the hood.
Been there, kids in the 'hood do understand politics from their perspective. McGruder just brings it into print.
