1. A moving montage...
...of film clips. Well worth the click.

Don't tell us to get over it...tell them (the families of dead Iraqi invasion soldiers).

6. Put that some place we can re-play it all the time
By the way I voted for Nixon the last time he ran. I did not think a President could do what the news was saying. I saw the men in the navy hospitals and I still voted for Nixon. It just did not seem to me our country could be as bad as they were saying. And I had always voted as a Republican. I had to sit down and really think over what I believed gov. should be and found I was really very anti-war and a progressive. I had voted out of habit and with our much thought for years.

18. Righteous, NOT
If every nation decides it can invade other nations as a preventative measure based on guesses and personal animosities, what will the world become?

It is the peak of arrogance to look at the mess in Iraq and call America's behavior there "righteous." Iraq didn't attack us on 9/11, and Iraq was a secular state, not an Islamic theocracy.

Not to mention the carnage and degradation we've foisted on the innocent people of Iraq, now and into the foreseeable future. All for a naive dream of democratic (read: capitalist) imperialism.

19. You are a pathetic moron.
Why bother posting this garbage here? If you think this is such a grand and noble war, why aren't you enlisting and taking up the fight?

And most of these "volunteers" entered service before 9/11. Lots of them were using their guard sign-up as a way to pay for their college education.

Iraq has never attacked this country and your defending this criminal administration makes me :puke:

20. 15/19 Hijackers were Saudis, none were Iraqi's.
So, how has the Bush administration dealt with the House of Saud?

(1) Removed our military bases from their country.
(2) Taken out a secular country/leader, Iraq/Saddam Hussein, from their eastern border. We now will see a pan-Islamic region, thanks to Bush's efforts in the ME.
(3) Made their oil product more valuable because the Iraqi oil production is going down, down, down.

Instead of being Righteous, how about becoming Educated and understanding that Saudi Arabia has been the incubator of Islamic Fundementalism and the Bush family has sold us down the tubes in exchange for Saudi oil $?

27. I have some swampland in FL for you
the soldiers lives were not only wasted, they have made the world a more dangerous place.

Your screen name fits you. Righteous. Righteous, and naive. 'Rooting out terrorism?' How so? Does Iraq have any connection to 9/11? Does the US have any fucking right to invade a sovereign nation who was not a threat?

The answer is no, and now 100,000 people who didn't really give a shit about Saddam Hussein are dead because of it.

Get a fucking clue. These people had families like yours and mine, and now they will do anything to kill us.

28. Are you engaged in repetitive rhetoric to convince others,...
,...or to embolden yourself?

There is a slew of evidence which completely contradicts your assertion. But, I won't attempt to change your mind.

26. The Sad Irony...
...Of that term, "get over it" and the vote counts, is that people would be up in arms, screaming, and demanding satisfaction (money refund) - if it were a popular source of entertainment that was stopped before the conclusion.

For example, the Colts-Lions game on Thanksgiving, the lop-sided score showed who the winner was going to be in the 3rd quarter; "hey let's stop now - it's a holiday - we all know who wins GET OVER IT!"

...The movie Titanic - the boat sinks - "we're stopping the film before that happens & closing the theater early - GET OVER IT!"

...The stripper that doesn't remove that final piece of clothing - "hey, you've seen one pair of breasts - you've seen 'em all - GET OVER IT!"

People rightly demand full satisfaction for the money they "fork over" - to receive a service or whatnot.

In this case, our soldiers are paying the bill/the tab for votes to be counted. All of them.
