Why would Madsen divulge so much information like the following
if this information is valid? Why wouldn't he keep it under wraps until he had enough proof to bring it to the public's attention? I believe this is what KO was saying in his article that I read last night. You don't let everyone know your info until you can verify it for yourself. Just ask CBS and Dan Rather! I fear all of this is another lie being perpetrated by the right to make us all look like idiots who fall for their bullshit hook, line and sinker.

"On October 6, 2004, some two weeks before Equity Financial Trust transferred the money to Five Star Investment Ltd., the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions for Canada listed Equity Financial Trust, along with Bankers Financial and Security Trust, Falcon Financial and Trust, and Unity Virtual Trust Group as "unauthorized financial institutions." In fact, the check for $29.6 million, which is marked "Not to exceed fifty million dollars," is drawn on the Laurentian Bank of Canada's Toronto branch. Its serial number is 317675450 3 and the bank number is 23-97/1020. The bank instrument is issued by Integrated Payment Systems, Inc. of Englewood, Colorado, and Bank One, NA, Denver, Colorado."

The above is one of those times that too much information is more than I want to know without proof! If it is true, then let the Bush house fall where it may; but I believe we all need to have clear heads until this proof is found.

What say ye?

1. Let's look at it this way:
While I am not emotionally invested in Mr. Madsen's reports, I do want them to see the twin lights of publication and review, so they can be vetted. Honestly.

That said, I did receive the following about Vincent Falcone, from a source who is pretty clued-in. Make of it what you will. The following has been lightly redacted, to remove extraneous, non-applying material:

"More involved in bribes to certain Caspian area players, the Nigeria $180
million bribe Cheney / Halliburton are involved in and Baker & Hughes in
Nigeria for around $45 million reportedly.

A "bag man for hire" that some use.

They have "pets". Falcone is a pet."

2. Thank You, of course, you're absolutely correct
I have been trying to explain this quietly because while there may be elements that are accurate it smells of a set up: give just enough information that is valid to set the bloggers hearts a pumping only to see the whole thing mushroom into a gigantic blowback that both detracts from and discredits much of the great work DU is doing. AS one DU'er cogently put it: DU has already presented enough that deserves to be investigated NOW.

3. Olberman's Criticism Of Madson's Story Valid -- But It Still May Be True
I share your doubts about the story. I worked as a wire service editor for 20 years.

However, Madson and Online Journal may have made a decision to publish what they have in order to bring the scrutiny of other journalists and investigators to the subject.

We'll see in the next days and weeks if this story has any legs.

Until then, and even then, we all should take everything we read (and hear on the radio and see on TV) with a grain of salt.

IMHO

4. He wrote that article about how
Edited on Sun Nov-28-04 09:06 AM by SpaceCatMeetsMars
Pope John Paul II thinks Bush is the anti-christ. That makes me not trust him, because he didn't give good sources for this supposed information.

I would really enjoy believing that the Pope thinks that, because it's kind of fun, but going around and saying it just makes a person look foolish. There are so many real, serious reasons to oppose Bush.

So you have to wonder if the guy IS trying to bait people.

5. Don't connect unproven dots
Since the work is being done on the ground toward real results AND since the Kerry issue and other goals are(or will be by dint of time)becoming irrelevant to restoring election honesty, no one should risk linking to more scoops or "last straws" or "this is it" stampedes that have never worked in the past true or no.

If truth develops and appears yes. Allegations should march in their own path to verification. Lumping them in or worse- using them as ways to boost the fraud issue do indeed risk making the whole issue falter before a hostile and rather stupid media.

Finally DU is linking hard to actual tasking without the distractions of sensations and lost causes and flames. This is indeed the most fantastic single effort ever seen in the board's history and is barely ruffled by the usual distractions or wild goose chases.

The purpose of this open source "intelligence agency" and media alternative is to amass real information and data and analyze, a field nearly untouched and certainly not public domain in the establishment world. The failure of every government and society is in having such talent and data available and ignoring it for wishful thinking. We can accomplish more now than the Bush tainted CIA, the Corporate Pravda Enquirer peanut gallery and the lumbering bypassed political parties themselves. And still have fun.

7. Oh--right. The Mayan calendar thingie. Who knows?
While I don't automatically scoff at such things, prophecies do have a way of failing.

12. the mayan calendar thingie

http://www.chiron-communications.com/communique%207-10.html

'The Mayan calendars are an object of intense interest for many thousands of people right now, because they focus upon the watershed date of Dec. 21, 2012. Everything changes by then, it is said.'

snip

"It will change," Mr. Barrios observes. "Everything will change." He said Mayan Daykeepers view the Dec. 21, 2012 date as a rebirth, the start of the World of the Fifth Sun. It will be the start of a new era resulting from — and signified by — the solar meridian crossing the galactic equator, and the earth aligning itself with the center of the galaxy.

At sunrise on December 21, 2012 — for the first time in 26,000 years — the Sun rises to conjunct the intersection of the Milky Way and the plane of the ecliptic, describing in the sky a great cross of stars and planets. This cosmic cross is considered to be an embodiment of the Sacred Tree, The Tree of Life — a tree remembered in all the world’s spiritual traditions.

"Change is accelerating now, and it will continue to accelerate."

snip

"We live in a world of polarity: day and night, man and woman, positive and negative. Light and darkness need each other. They are a balance. Just now the dark side is very strong, and very clear about what they want. They have their vision and their priorities clearly held, and also their hierarchy. They are working in many ways so that we will be unable to connect with the spiral Fifth World in 2012."

'As Mr. Barrios sees it, the dark side works to block fusion through denial and materialism...They like the energy of the old, declining Fourth World, the materialism. They do not want it to change. They do not want fusion. They want to stay at this level, and are afraid of the next level.

'The dark power of the declining Fourth World cannot be destroyed or overpowered. It’s too strong and clear for that, and that is the wrong strategy. The dark can only be transformed when confronted with simplicity and open-heartedness. This is what leads to fusion, a key concept for the World of the Fifth Sun.

snip

8. Intrigued by the "wont matter after the year 2012!" comment
The only thing I know of that happens then is the end of the Mayan Long Count calancer. Anything else you know? Inquiring minds want to know.

9. Madsen sent me an email today..Here is what he says
Okay.. they need to concentrate on rigging and closed off/secured vote counting sites in Texas, Ohio, California, and Florida. Any irregularities concerning techies, especially Diebold, should be reported (to me or Joan's network). The Democrats are aware of more details of this story but for me, as a jorno, I can't yet name names because I have to gather more evidence and make this story libel proof. The national vote padding for Bush (the 3 million margin) happened primarily in Texas, Florida, and California.

thanks

11. Interesting Madsen mentions Texas.
I always thought the percentage of votes for *shrub were way too high in Texas. I live here. It would be so easy for them to shift votes to *shrub in Texas. People would assume Texas would go for him overwhelmingly. I don't think they did. Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso all went for Kerry. I am watching this with great interest.

13. a peculiar metaphysical note about five star trust
forgive my lettering, caps key is shot to hell.

but i do want to mention that on the day wayne madsden broke his story about 5-star trust, the planets were forming into the third and penultimate grand quintile formation of autumn, 2004.

this is an esoteric subject, and i know many people will write it off altogether. but for the du record, i would like to make the observation just the same.

grand quintiles -- the arrangement of 5 plants into the shape of a pentagon, or a 5-pointed pentagram star -- is a rare astrological configuration. the last occurence was in 1941 or so, at the start of world war 2.

http://www.harmonicconcordance.com/newsite/AstrologicalMusings--QuintilesII.htm

we had 3 linked grand quintile formations happen in oct and nov, 2004. the last of these -- proclaiming a celestial signature of 5, of course -- happened just at thanksgiving as wayne madsen published his article on the 5-star trust. a coincidence, or a cosmic signature -- as above so below.

we report, you decide.

14. because people asked, and he was man enough to give us a peek
if he hadn't those same people whining about giving us this peek would be whining he didn't show us anything concrete.

he's damn if he does, and if he doesn't.

I'm just glad he willing to do his job, regardless of how it turns out.
