And that Bush never really fights for these people is an even greater shame.

6. I Like the Catholic Card
Just ask them; so If a Catholic believed in the Pope's states about Capital Punishment, you'd have no problem?

They claim that William Pryor's nomination was blocked because of his Catholicism. That cracked me up.

5. This guy wants us to steal from the people of Iraq...
To: onedoug

Yes, this is one of the worst of Bush's failures. One of the main reasons I worked hard for his victory was to get better judges.

And now he has us groveling before the UN asking for help. And he wants us to pay billions of dollars to reconstruct an oil-rich country. What happened to the billions they found in Iraq? Where is the billions in oil revenue going? Why does America sleep through all this? How can we have any hope for our futures as we sink into a pit of debt and world government?

12. That guy's not long for Rim Job's circle jerk
Asking questions about where the money is going, eh? Sounds like that poster might have some doubts about the absolute integritude of the Bush administration. That's pretty unamerican, if you ask me!

After he gets banned, Iconoclast2 can come over here and get his questions answered. I hope he showers first.

7. ha ha, some of these are making me laugh out loud
look at this one:

Hispanics have a very strong sense of right and wrong. They know that the Democratic party has used them and taken them for granted

I disagree. Hispanics didn't give a Rat's ass about this issue. No Hispanic outcry at all. There was an "R" behind the man's name they so they didn't care at all. Maybe if he belonged to MEChA there would be some sympathy.

or maybe they aren't stupid enough to support some right wingnut judge just because he happens to be the same race as them. startling though, huh?

8. Does anyone know how many judges HAVE gotten through...
...and how many are hispanic? Seems to me I heard that there are a lot of judges that have been confirmed, and only a handful that have been denied.

9. By the by---do you guys smell some politics going on??
I think Bush said bye bye to Estrada and not just that Estrada withdrew his name. Why??---because it is now the start of the '04 campaign. One of the Bush assholes outright admitted that this 'year' Bush was going to show his compassionate conservativism and be all warm and fuzzy and human and shit (trying the same old trick as last time---didn't he get the point that he was never elected). Thus, I think Estrada was an "attempt" to see if they could get the sucker appointed lasty cycle. But now they don't want this kind of right winger shit on national news. And I also thing a deal was cut with Bush's pet Supreme Court that none of them would resign. He absoultely doesn't want to be in THAT mess at election time. He wants to be able to fool the people until next November.

18. They're not quite as happy with their Boy Wonder Bill Frist
as they once were. I remember my 83-yr. old dad gleefully rejoicing in the appointment of Frist ("a doctor!!!") as speaker. Now they're equating him with Lott.
