Who'll replace Ridge?
Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 03:08 PM by annabanana
(Did anyone else see a blipvert on MSNBC last week wherein Ridge's resignation was prematurely announced and Frist was mentioned as a successor? - It was "corrected" immediately after the next commercial) I know I wasn't imagining it, although I can't imagine that Frist would be any kind of a logical choice.

on edit: I'd love to see DU's best case/ worst case choices

1. I hope not,
but I keep thinking of that former NYC police commissioner that was quite visible during the boy king's campaign. Bernard Kerik (sp)? That guy gives me the willies.

3. The good old days of the Khmer Rouge.
They saved a ton on bullets and crushed their prisoners' skulls instead. It's that kind of conservative thinking that's gonna save this country.

5. You're goddamned right those were the days.
Cracking skulls with batons, throwing the bodies in a ditch, killing anyone who pissed you off.

Now that's what I call being liberated.

6. Rudy
It gives him a high profile job to work until he decides to run for office again, like for President in 2008.

8. The CEO of Wackenhut?
He put the corn flake king in as Sec. of Commerce, why not put the head of a private prison company in charge of the colour chart?
