For every death, how many are coming home without limbs, or with significant psychological problems? 10? 20?

Which means the terrorists are giving up, right?

The deaths of military personnel from other countries, the Iraqi civilians, the accidental deaths not counted as military losses...That figure doesn't even include the casualties and the people who have suffered as a consequence of loved ones dying.

What a tragic loss.

Note that this site not unbiased, but the numbers shown here are correct. Not to say that they will follow the same path, but just a comparative view by the relative time frame.

To me it shows that we've lost troops at an approximately constant rate for the last couple'a years... What else am I supposed to be seeing?

I believe 'slope' is taught in junior high school. It's not a trivial factor. The slope (rate of death) increased precipitouslly after the election. Indeed, the rate of change of the slope shows acceleration, not deceleration.

As a former high school math teacher, I'd recommend a refresher course.

I'll try to leave alone, that the graph represents a special person (many special people), forever gone to the planet and those that loved them. I'll also leave alone how many 'special' people we have here in this once great country, that would allow a chickenshit chickenhawk dullard of a human bei... scratch that...
