9. I am really losing it with our "so-called media"!
How can these bastards get away with dumping a report like this on Thanksgiving, and NOBODY UTTERS A PEEP? These people have become brain-dead mouthpieces (hmm, kinda like The Jackass himself), not JOURNALISTS! (sigh)

7. I read it a few days ago

randi is being nice to all the players.

The report killed Bush, Powell, Rumsfeld, Cheney, the Generals, White House, Congress, the Senate. It calls them fools and liars!!

I posted something about it soon after I read it but not being a subscribing member I cannot see the archives to point you to it.

5. if one reads as much about the military
as i do,one would not be shocked by this report. the whole iraqi invasion has been widely questioned by many in the military esp. before the war. no one will pay attention or worse they will do nothing when they read it.

SPACE-BASED SENSORS TAKE CENTER STAGE
A new Pentagon study has emphasized the importance of space-based sensors to U.S. missile defense plans, the September 10th edition of Inside the Air Force reports. According to the brief, prepared by a task force assembled by the Pentagon’s Defense Science Board (DSB) at the request of Congress, “the Space-Based Radar has the potential for substantial contributions to ballistic missile defense, providing capabilities and access that are difficult to achieve with surface-based sensors.” In its findings, the DSB white paper concluded that space-based surveillance and tracking could play a critical role in several distinct duties: pre-launch monitoring; the early detection of ballistic missile launches; tracking of the missile’s trajectory, and; discrimination between warheads and decoys that might be deployed by the incoming missile.

11. Small town in central-west Finland
between Vaasa and Seinäjoki.

Have driven through it a couple of times. Wonder what they have there!!

Must be a real quiet place as I think the population could not be more that 5000!!

13. Yes, it was tiny, quaint, beautiful-
being there as an exchange student when I was 16 was easily the most positive life changing experience I have had and I am 45 now-I have been in love with Finland, the Finnish people and culture ever since! Very nice to meet you on DU!
