New Freedom Commission, just got a call saying "watch out!"

I have been on the phone with unhelpful congress people, cept Ron Paul's office, his folks care, and media outlets, I got one call earlier that where the person called me a whacko and another a few mintues ago that told me to "watch out!"

That was all the person said and the call came from phone # 1 111 111 1111

I'm terrifed.

I called the cops, who came by and I showed them all the stuff about the New Freedom Commission. Steve the cop was pissed, and I gave him all the information about the NFC and the phone # to Capital Hill.

Anyway I BEG of my fellow DUers to please call you representatives and local media outlets to get the to go public with this.

I can't do this by myself, I have two little boys and politics aside a very happy and loving family.


I just wanted to talk about it, cause for once even I am scared.

I'm trying to stread the word about this "New Freedom Commission". We need to make a lot more people aware of what is going on.

Now, get your phone number changed. Or not. But don't let some minor factotum scare you.

he was a few years older and was a student of my dad.

He was pissed and upset that they would do this.

So maybe on a broader scale the cops are possibly involved, but they are all just people like you or me and don't want their kids drugged either.

there must be a way to show that # on the caller ID.

WTF is going on here???

It deals with "mandatory" mental health screening for children, an idea for which there are many valid questions and concerns not yet answered. Here on DU, the issue has been basted with paranoia is something akin to our version of the freepers' black UN helicopoters. I would suggest some reading on the members of the commision before you decide for yourself what these issues mean to you (i.e. whether this is a somewhat problematic public health issue, or whether the feds are coming to steal your children.)

are they planning on trying to expose this more?

Who in your town knows you are doing this? I have a reason for asking:

If this was coming from an office on, say, Capitol Hill, the cops, with a legal trace, could come up with the ph#. In some place like the Capitol, every phone call is logged. They could find out who was making these harassing calls with reasonable assuredness.

I do not think that these calls are coming from an official number. It is very possible that they are coming from someone with a caller-id block on their line and someone closer than you think.

I would not be surprised if it is someone in your town.

you're assuming that government operatives and spooks play by the rules and are above board.

if what the original poster said is true, i'd watch out, but i'd make them come to me.

CIA, FBI, DHS, local police organizations are all in cahoots with one another and shuffle power between themselves routinely.

the OP should NOT be talking to ANY law enforcement whatsoever.

Not that you shouldn't take precautions. However, it's most likely they won't go any further than phone calls.

And BTW, theirs act is, in my opinion, an act of terrorism and an attempt to deny you your freedom of speech via intimidation. I would hope officials will take this seriously.

And now that they know you have good cops on your side, and that you'll be having the phone company trace the call, and that you'll be taping the calls, they won't call again.
