a lot of, probably most of the people who think Falwell is a fool, don't bother to vote. That's what Democrats need to recognize. They need to stop giving "credit" to the American people to be able to discern right from wrong. The republicans and Ralph Nader have done a masterful job of dumbing down America. I had to throw Nader in there because a lot of people believe what Nader has been saying about there being no real difference. So, they figure, why bother.

gotta disagree with ya here dude. There is, indeed, very little that separates most Dems from most Repugs. Remember, not all Repugs are Bushies, and few Dems are Nadlers. Most of both party just care about getting elected and catering to Big $$. Bush is far right, even for repugs, so the distinctions seem clearer than they really are. Nader is all about wising up America, not dumbing it down. Check out his career. There is not a deceptive bone in his body.
