It's their first interview since she started her chemo.

john looks weary and very devoted to her.

She is such an inspiring woman. She just said that she is wearing a wig now. You really can't tell--it looks great!

All she cared about during the election was the people she met on the trail and their problems...not the fact that she had cancer

She's a great lady.

I respect her so much and honor her. What a great influence on people. How can anyone say they don't have wonderful values? The have such a great marriage. I am jealous!

What an excellent example of real family values. Elizabeth looks very good although I expect she's tired a lot. There's still surgery ahead and radiation, but their attitudes are so wonderful and upbeat that I know they'll win the battle.

When John Edwards told Larry King that she still looks as wonderful as she always has, I had to get up and dance. I'm absolutely nutz about them both.

And Jimmy Carter was on, too. I was completely amazed by how vital and alive he is. He's started learning oil painting and just got back from Mozambique. His humor and sparkle were wonderful.

Once again I'm reminded why I'm a Democrat. These are alive, caring, generous people. They demonstrate the best aspirations and achievement and reflect true generosity of spirit.

so very much. And I think about Elizabeth all the time and understand what she is going through.

My mother had breast cancer and had a lumpectomy in '99 and she is currently a breast cancer survivor that has had a clean bill of health since then.

She and John are such a beautiful couple and if John Edwards decides to run again in '08 he will get my vote. I will always think of him as my Senator here in NC even when he leaves office.
