anyone remember the "Heaven's Gate" cult which commited mass suicide ?

does anyone remember a few years back, around the late 90's i think this heaven's day cult which commited mass suicide.

well they had this odd looking leader with weird looking facial expressions. i was just thinking how Bush looks a lot like that, especially when i see the pics people post on here.

11. That was just the weirdest thing.

I think that event actually changed the way I view human nature.

They were all pretty smart people -- computer programmers -- but somehow they really thought they should get castrated and wear matching clothes and pack their suitcases before killing themselves and going for a ride on a comet. I can imagine one person going crazy and having delusions, but like a dozen people with exactly the same delusion?

Mind control is real!
