Take a look - Nostradamus
Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 01:32 AM by jsamuel
These are from good ole' Nostradamus
(This is just for fun... so don't act too serious about this post, ok?)

Fifth Century Nostradamus Quatrains

V 75
Montera haut sur le bien plus à dextre,
Demourra assis sur la pierre carree :
Vers le midy posé à sa fenestre,
Baston tortu en main bouche serree.

He will rise high over the estate more to the right, - Good ole Bush W
He will remain seated on the square stone, - Re-elected
Towards the south facing to his left, - Texas
The crooked staff in his hand his mouth sealed. - staff = Rove

V 76
En lieu libere tendra son pauillon,
Et ne voudra en citez prendre place :
Aix, Carpen, l'Isle volce mont Cauaillon
Par tout les lieux abolira la trasse.

In a free place will he pitch his tent, - US
And he will not want to lodge in the cities: - Crawford/Rural
Aix, Carpentras, L'Isle, Vaucluse Mont, Cavaillon,
Throughout all these places will he abolish his trace.

V 77
Tous les degrez d'honneur Ecclesiastique,
Seront changez en dial quirinal :
En Martial quirinal flaminique,
Vn Roy de France le rendra vulcanal.

All degrees of Ecclesiastical honor
Will be changed to that of Jupiter and Quirinus: - Changing religion to war and power (mars and jupiter)
The priest of Quirinus to one of Mars,
Then a King of France will make him one of Vulcan. - Cherok objecting and calling him what he is (one of fire/destruction)
- This is also refering to the gathering of countries for Iraq.

V 78
Les deux vnis ne tiendront longuement,
Et dans treze ans au barbare s'attrappe :
Aux deux costez feront tel perdement,
Qu'vn benira la barque & sa cappe.

The two will not be united for very long, - falling apart of the "grand coal."
And in thirteen years to the Barbarian Satrap:
On both sides they will cause such loss
That one will bless the Bark and its cope.

V 79
La sacree pompe viendra baisser les aisles
Par la venuë du grand Legislateur :
Humble haussera, vexera les rebelles,
Naistra sur terre aucun aemulateur.

The sacred pomp will come to lower its wings, - just as he is resting
Through the coming of the great legislator: - In comes Kerry
He will raise the humble, he will vex the rebels, - us
His like will not appear on this earth. - That is some pretty nice talk comming from Nos.

4. People keep quoting "the end"
Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 01:40 AM by jsamuel
I am tired of everyone acting like "the end" is the same thing as the Apocalypse.

"The end" can mean so many different things in the eyes of God. The end of an empire, the end of evil, the end of an epoch...

It can mean so many things. There are many more centuries after this one according to Nos., so lets not get to depressed about "the end", ok?

(I am reffering to bushisantichrist.com)...

22. Apocalypse..now?
In essence that is exactly what we need.

Apocalypse is from the Greek word apokalupsis. It has nothing to do with the end of the world.

Apokalupsis means "to uncover what has been covered up", the revelation of truth, to be discovered in true character, to be manifested, disclosed.

We have perverted it into horror and war and some might prefer that to all truth being revealed... to the end of the world of lies.

But a true Apocalypse would be much more fun then that! Come on Truth, bring it on.

2. "His kind will not appear on this earth."
Now I'm not one for this kind of thing, and I would prefer to see it in the Meeting Room, but this quote eerily brings to mind the "rapture fantasty" detailed in the Left Behind series. Do you think all the fundies will drink poisoned grape juice and "ascend to Heaven" in the near future?

Will we have to endure looking at the Chimp in the WH for 4 more looooooog years?

16. jsamuel, this isn't from Nostradamus, but from an astrologer who had
some interesting predictions about the election (he was trying to predict the winner. This entry was done before the outcome of the election). He had some VERY interesting things to say about Bush/Kerry:

http://www.astrologyforthesoul.com/presrace.html

<snip>

One significant possibility, and if I were forced to put money down it would probably be here, is that Bush wins the election, but then his victory turns out to be a rather unfortunate turn of events for him. Maybe he wins the battle and then loses the war, irony intended. With social, economic, and international problems mounting for him, perhaps winning the election would turn out to be the worst thing that’s ever happened to him. Maybe the Saturn return doesn’t cause him to lose the election, but rather to suffer the consequences of his policies and actions. Maybe he will be the man who has to stand in and take his lumps and be responsible for the terrible messes he has created. Maybe Saturn doesn’t want to let him off too easily. Uh oh. Now Bush is going to start running attack ads calling me a pessimist.

<snip>

I will somewhat boldly say this. Bush’s Saturn return will either cost him re-election (less likely), or it will cost him much more (more likely). If you are not a Bush fan, you might take solace in the fact that no matter what happens, he is (and Cheney is) in some deep doo doo, and their feet will be put to the fire one way or another. Cheney will have transiting Saturn on his Chiron and transiting Chiron on his Venus for the election. Normally that would show to me someone that would lose the big event. But in this case I will say that he too will either lose the election or face some very serious fallout from it in upcoming years. Whatever happens for Bush/Cheney, I think it won't be good for them personally, in the long-run, if not the short-term.

<snip>

If my life depended on it, I’d put my money on Bush to win the election, and then face some bitter consequences. Luckily my life doesn’t depend on the prediction, and I’ll just officially say “I don’t know.” After the election is over, the media will turn its full glare onto the state of our country and analyze Bush’s “leadership.” He'll be experiencing Saturn in full force.

<snip>

If you are a Kerry supporter, take heart in the fact that there are at least some aspects that at least could be extremely favorable for the Dems. I hope you’ll continue to stay involved in the political process, as I am, volunteering time and money to stand up for what you believe is right. When we do that, only good things can happen. We have to be involved in order to manifest a difference. We just might want to be prepared for the possibility that progress might look at first like regress.

What do you think about this?

Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 02:36 AM by jsamuel
I saw another astrologer who said something like this:

"I see Kerry winning the election day, but I see BOTH Kerry and Bush at the Inauguration. I don't know what that means. It could be that Bush wins the election, but Kerry gains power somehow as a result of the election and is allowed to attend the Inauguration."

It seems things were supposed to be confussing for us right now. I think they are supposed to be incouraging though. Everything seems to point to: it seems bad, but it is actually really really good.

19. I certainly hope so... I think we are supposed to not know
Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 02:46 AM by jsamuel
I think part of the reason this is happening is because "we" need to learn how to fight. "We" need to wake up. And I am not talking about the general population, I am talking about those of us who are aware. Those of us who see more than others. We have been asleep with our eyes open. We have to go through this in order to awake. There is no easy way around it. If this is true, then much good will come out of our fight.

I actually had a very brief split second thought of just letting everyone else handle this thing. At that exact moment I nearly knocked my drink off the table. I know it sounds weird, but I see small signs in very small things (everyone else always seems to be waiting for some voice of God or something). It just made me realize that is part of the reason why this is happening, because we need to fight for the sake of it, not just for the outcome.

32. Yes we have been abused and need to fight back...
I was amused by that latest term for us put out by the RW whispering machine--"bitterenders." I guess this is supposed to be this year's 'soreloserman.'

We should take this up with pride-- we are at the bitter end I think finally. We have a Mandate to NOT get over it....the Bitterenders will lead the way past the barricades. And we will do it without violence too. A greater achievement than any of their wars.

This is not Democracy as the Founders intended it. We just have to keep saying that, over and over and over. Until people in this country come out of their spider holes and start to see and hear Truth again. It is a truth they want to hear, I believe.

Doesnt matter whether you believe Nostradamus. Prophecies serve to remind us there are bigger forces at work. The small minds don't get that. They think they are in control and are entitled to unlimited power. And that they have dominion over the earth is the greatest arrogance. Sorry, Earth/God/Spirit Rules. There will be a correction.

Sometimes in the trenches that is easy to forget. thanks, jsamuel.

20. Okay, y'all, I'm up way too late, but here's my astrological contribution
Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 02:50 AM by Straight Shooter
I just stumbled upon this astrologer's site while looking for election predictions. Yes, he originally predicted Kerry, but look at what he offers by way of revision:

Many estimable astrologers around the world, including some top Vedic astrologers in India, also had predicted a Kerry victory. Without trying to rationalize a wrong prediction by this astrologer, it is informative to review the last Jupiter-Saturn Grand Conjunction of 28 May 2000, as this is the relevant political chart for the 20-year cycle between 2000 and 2020, when the next Jupiter-Saturn conjunction falls in the sign of Aquarius. In May 2000, the conjunction fell in the 23rd degree of Taurus. chart From Sepharial's translation of La Volasfera, Taurus 23:

A king sits upon a throne; behind him stands a figure veiled in black. It signifies one who will suffer misfortune in the height of his career and whose fall will be dangerous in proportion to the height he has attained. The native will be too apt to depend on his own powers and will essay feats which will be beyond his natural powers. Ambition will lead him into dangerous positions, and at a weak moment he will fall. Let this be taken as equally affecting his physical, moral, and social welfare. It is a degree of COLLAPSE.

One could read between the lines of Sepharial's analysis and deduce that President Bush is symbolized by the king upon the throne. The "figure veiled in black" appears to be the man running his election campaigns, Karl Rove, whose crude, lowball and mean spirited tactics to ruthlessly smear opposing candidates makes it hard to believe the sincerity of the so-called Christian morals claimed by this administration as their guiding principles.

If Tecumseh's Curse is still in effect, a historical pattern that has resulted in the death of American presidents in office who were elected at the Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions in the Earth element since William Henry Harrison in 1841, then Mr Bush, elected in 2000 at the last of the Grand Conjunctions in Earth, is thus still under its rays. Saturn will transit his natal Ascendant for the first of three times on 11 September 2005, a date with obvious implications. Transit Uranus will oppose Mr Bush's natal Mars three times on 14 April 2005, 18 August 2005 and 4 February 2006. This is an aspect containing the possibility of a sudden and violent attack against his person, or an accident or injury resulting in death. As Sepharial makes reference to the king's physical welfare in Taurus 23, it is clear that a collapse of Mr Bush's power and well being is probable.

37. Unfortunately, that would be no texpatriot2004! I have been unemployed
for over two years now and am still trying to find a job. I'm living with my twin in McKinney. Things are so scary! She has to pay all of our bills and sometimes I think we are not going to make it! I really love her for what she has done for me. If it weren't for her, I would be absolutely homeless. Things have got to get better for me. Imagine how I felt when, at first, this Chimp won. I felt my luck to finally find a job was just shot down! Then, of course, we Dems starting noticing the fraud! Man, I am beyond frustrated!

Of course, I am the only Dem in my entire family, including aunts, uncles, cousins. I have to listen to those Repuketards every time I go to Longview to visit. It's sickening. And, what's worth, they all love the Chimp! It's heartbreaking. I try to explain to them how corrupt he and his cabal are, but they don't listen. My sister is Independent though. I just hope one day that the truth will come out about that asshat, Chimpy McFlightsuit!

I didn't know, however, that there was going to be a march in Austin. Is it about the fraud? Good luck to you guys!

I hear it will be worse than Watergate. He's put himself up pretty high on a pedestal, the fall will be bad.

That reminds me, I had a Watergate question earlier today as I was thinking about the mess of our government. What was the state of the checks and balances during Watergate? Did we have any then? I mean, as compared to now.

40. Just found a fantastic horoscope for Bush
Edited on Fri Dec-10-04 03:00 PM by BushSpeak
Thanks for the idea. I Goggled the subject and came up with this horoscope that goes a bit deeper than the typical Sunday newspaper ones.

Take it for what it's worth, but it puts things into an interesting perspective. It was written after the election.

"First of all, this is not a horoscope of a true ruler, it is rather that of a puppet being forced to perform because he has no choice."

"He is bound to be sacrificed by those that move him, which experience will change him deeply and force him to come to realizations from unseen quarters. <snip> He will face the wrath of people for wars, the economic collapse and for his lies – which he believes have been committed for the sake of the nation."

"At a certain point his handlers will abandon him and it will be open season on Bush."

"He does not know why, but the more he fights any party, the stronger his enemies become. Since he is more fanatical than his handlers realize, this will bring America into bitter and unnecessary conflicts. "

An Essential Indian Astrological Analysis of G. W. Bush

Could be interesting to see how Cheney handles the projectors - sorta like a mole coming out into the sunlight.

Looks like we're in for a bumpy ride in 2006 - 2007, so fasten your seat belts. And don't forget to stash all your gold and silver under the mattress.

36. I've been looking on and off for years
It seems to me that 15 or so years ago a Frenchman published a book on the writings of Nostradamus. I don't know if it was ever translated into English. But if my memory is working, in it he wrote about the early 21st century, saying that it would basically be fraught with danger in the US, and that world war would be imminent, but that people would organize and save the situation, he thought by 2020-2025.

I'm not knowledgeable about Nostradamus, but that Truth is, I never looked all that hard, either.
