Bernie Ward just kicked Armstrong Williams' butt on Blitzer
Williams and Ward were just on Blitzer.

Williams asserted that Saddham was connected to 9/11 and Bernie went ballistic. Williams then backed into a "belief" that there was a connection. Bernie characterized that stance as a "faith based" connection refuted by statements made by the president himself.

They also commented on the lack of good equipment for soldiers. Bernie was able to get across how the administration talks about honoring soldiers but has not demonstrated it in how they're actually treated. Ward even got in the point that there are veterans of this Iraq conflict showing up at homeless shelters. He also got in the fact that the war was a war of choice and so there was no need to ever send in any soldiers ill equipped. When Williams called Bernie "bitter", Bernie agreed and said that all families of fallen soldiers deserved to be bitter as well.

In essence, he covered all the points he's been covering on his nightly KGO radio program regarding the big lie and treatment of soldiers. It was a terrific segment. Bernie Ward never loses his ability to debate on the facts no matter how passionate he becomes.

9. Bernie is great
I first heard him driving home from the coast for Christmas late at night and I had to do a double take, surprised that there was actually a liberal on the talk-radio airwaves.

10. I so admire people like Bernie
I could *never* hold all my facts together in a heated argument like he and some others are able to.

It isn't that I don't know the facts. I do. But my emotion runs rampant with my brain and I just lose it, being reduced to such highly effective debate tactics as "fuck you, asshole"

12. Me, too! Me Too! LOL
I just laughed out loud when I read your last paragraph, because that is exactly what happens to me also.

"It's not that I don't know the facts. I do. But my emotion runs
rampant with my brain and I just lose it, being reduced to such highly effective tactics as 'fuck you, asshole'"

Sometimes, I get so upset on these boards and start typing so furiously that I do the same thing on my posts!

Thanks for the laugh! :)

11. Bernie mentioned yesterday that

he was an expert on armaments as he used to work for Barbara Boxer on this subject?

He really tore the army apart on the soldiers question to Rumsfeld.

Bernie really rocks and is one of the best. The only problem with his KGO Internet broadcast is that there are long silences!!
