Is anyone worried about your tax return this year???
I have just had this really weird feeling that since I have been so obviously negative toward Bush&Co this year by donating money and time to anti-Bush causes and spending time on forums like this one, would it be possible that Big Brother might F@#k with my tax returns by auditing me or delaying me?

I don't know...maybe I am paranoid!

1. Nah, not worried. I have generally had good rapport with the people of
India I have met. ;)

3. I really don't think there is any chance of this.
People usually think they are more important to their enemies then they actually are. I hardly think we even make a blip on their "revenge" radar.

5. Not really
I don't have much to worry about. I keep good records and I pay my taxes. I've been questioned, not a full blown audit, several times. With several letters and explanations, it worked out. I know a full blown audit is painful but I'm prepared, I hope, for it.

6. They slipped a hired gun clause through Congress for the IRS
in a recent bill. It will allow the IRS to hire individuals outside the agency to pursue tax-payers. I'm not sure of the scope of it, but I happened to hear Drudge ranting about it and he was livid.
