4. They're divorcing because they are getting scared - rightly so - is my
guess.

The homosexual couples that I know have very caring and loving relationships, much more so than the heterosexuals I know.

IF there are really divorces. We know we shouldn't believe ANYTHING.

5. Makes you wonder if they can get an annulment as long as they
don't have intercourse. Oh, wait, the language may not have caught up with it.

Shame that this will get so much focus, can hear the fundies screaming already.

8. it's only because
many were just in love and out to make a point together. NOT ALLL!! That's not what I mean...but SOME, definitely. Look at the marryanamerican site...I wonder how many such unions would end in divorce?

NO OFFENSE meant here. I know I could be flamed.

11. Beware the law of unintended consequences....
Divorce is going to happen regardless of orientation. It can't be stopped and only divorce lawyers benefit.

It will be interesting to watch areas that allow gay marriage. Since marriage would be a viable option, it would be a logical budget saving move to cancel benefits for unmarried gay couples. That would devastate nearly the entire gay community. Just as in the hetero-world, some couples just don't want to get married.

As I see it, this would effect blue states long before red states because red states will be the last to allow gay marriages. Time will tell.

12. Since Fundamentalist Freaks
have the highest divorce rates in the nation, may be we should be pushing for a constitutional amendment to ban all religious fundamentalists from marrying.
