HOLD IT! Bremer and Tenet to get highest civilian honor?!?!?
What the F**K!?! The Presidential Medal of Freedom?

Good lord! Bremer? He made the single worst decision (aside from invading) of the whole Iraq war-disbanding the Iraqi Army. EVERYONE agrees that that was catastrophic and the predominant reason that the insurgency festered out of control and the troops find themselves in the situation they are in.

Tenet?-I thought he was the scapegoat for 9/11 AND the WMD's not being found. Is this medal a reward for falling on his sword so many times?

This is ....this makes NO sense. Oh I forgot this is W's world were loyalty is paramount and declaring victory in the face of defeat makes it so.

Tommy Franks-I know he has been whoring for them but I really don't have a problem with him except WHY IS HE GETTING A CIVILIAN HONOR FOR WHAT HE DID IN THE MILITARY?

Look here for the announcement of this and the past winners....like the Pope.

Benny Arnold still has a chance to be rehabilitated with this administration.

4. does he have to give back the $6 billion that's missing, or
does he get to keep that? I'm sure his Italian tailor will need to be flown in again to whip up a few more $$$ suits.

6. More like $11BILLION
Oh wait that is since Bremer got control of the money NOT the UN.

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/5268885/

BAGHDAD/WASHINGTON - United Nations-mandated auditors have sharply criticized the US occupation authority for the way it has spent more than $11 billion in Iraqi oil revenues and say they have faced "resistance" from coalition officials.

In an interim report, obtained by the Financial Times, KPMG says the Development Fund for Iraq, which is managed by the US-led Coalition Provisional Authority and channels oil revenue into reconstruction projects, is "open to fraudulent acts".

The auditors criticize the CPA's bookkeeping and warn: "The CPA does not have effective controls over the ministries' spending of their individually allocated budgets, whether the funds are direct from the CPA or via the ministry of finance."

7. Well, look at the president. Why is anyone surprised?
We're all disgusted, but surprised?

We're a corrupt nation. And the corrupt will only support their followers.

Nice way to promote a democracy at home, huh?
