Never mind that she's "happy" about this whole sad turn of events.
Or maybe she's happy about the "message this sends".

He's probably guilty. Fine. Put him away, but people commit murders every day, and the saturation coverage of this case is completely unwarranted. Poeple who obsess over this case need to find something better to do.

happen to be poor, brown or black and live in urban America. Or poor, white or black and live in rural America. When was the last time the "news" focused so intensely on the murder of a person of color and/or one with no money? :hi:

Until I found out Scott Peterson is gonna get the death penalty. Now I am definitely reconsidering my previous stance.

No law can be applied to crimes commited before it went into effect.

Put Peterson in a uniform, and send him to Iraq. If he is a proficient killer, then send him to where we praise killers.

When (if) he returns, America can chew on the gristle of these question. Is Peterson a villian or a hero? Does putting on a uniform protect you from responsibility for all acts? Why do we love to see the deaths of those who kill innocents for their own reasons, and yet make heroes of those who cloak the killing of innocents in the darkening fabric of freedom?

start up on some other obscure or Old Testament or whatever citation, I will gently or not-so-gently remind them of the essential kindness, forgiveness, etc., aspects of Jesus. At which point they will probably string me up!
