Al Franken/Jon Stewart for President!
Just finished watching "Now, with Bill Moyers." Wow. I knew JS was funny and insightful. I didn't know he was that smart! In half an hour, he distilled the whole mess into a palatable, easy-to-understand message. Thank god he's on CS and not a network.

1. That was REALLY a good show
You are right, he captured it.
I thought the beginning of the show was must see as well. I think that potential judicial appointments like Bill Pryor are more than reason enough to choke down any Dem who gets the nod for Pres. SCARY

6. It's a PBS program
You don't even need cable. It's usually on at 10/9 Central on Fridays.

5. I'm Only "in love" As Much as a Male CAN Be
But Jon STEWERT and Al FRANKEN are almost as good as sex.

Did I say something wrong?

7. A few months ago, I said
Stewart and Franken should be hired by the next Dem nominee, then get jobs with the next dem administration.

11. NOT IN OUR NAME!

http://www.humorisdead.com/news/elephants.html

Above: With signs like "Not In Our Name", and "Never Forget" messages aimed at Florida Republicans, pachyderms from near and far congregated on the grounds of Republican National Headquarters on Saturday to show displeasure towards their likeness being used to represent the Republican Party. Several arrests were made, and one officer was reportedly trampled when trying to subdue a protester with a tranquilizer dart.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Below: Across the street at the Amoco station, our cameras noticed a lone "pro-Republican" protester displaying his support for the Grand Ol' Party. Named for the screen legend, "Dumbo" proudly grasps an American flag, and his play-on-words with the Barnum Circus logo on his forehead is, well, it's actually pretty damn creative for a circus elephant, especially a Republican one.
