Rather than not talking to each other, living in worried fear of each other and thus building weapons to answer those fears, I think the best solution in dealing with China is to have open channels of communication, to tell them our position on issues and them telling us theirs and whatever needs to be done to accomodate those positions.

WTF are we going to do about our country being hijacked and Bush setting up this apocaplypse scenario? Are these men really untouchable? Sure seems that way. They sure act like it. Who would arrest them? I think many of us have wondered that a few times during this Ohio vote scenario. Didnt you? That they wouldn't give up the White House even if they were busted? If somehow the public screamed loud enough for the MSM to start reporting the rigged election seriously, and it broke into the huge story that it should be? I can easily imagine the Republicans refusing to leave the White House or the Senate.
Seems they have the FBI, CIA and the military behind them with all those billions of defense and intelligence bill funds. The last few CIA agents that might not have been supporting them have now obviously been terminated under Goss. Even those two CIA agents who spoke out six months ago were ignored! I only saw them on DemocracyNow.com, not on any mainstream news, and what they had to say was shocking...instant impeachment material. And the few worthwhile journalists are getting killed... the last one being Gary Webb, making it five that I know of, who focused on the corrupt right wing.
Also, in all my 40 years I can't remember this many books out all at once that prove the Bush administration is the most corrupt and dangerous in history...yet they're still in power. Not even Reagan or Nixon got this much attention in the literary world. I guess it should be no surprise considering that Daddy Bush's first big gig was CIA director in '78. Bush sr. gets let off the hook these days way too much.

But what's the scariest to me is the American people. It's so hard to believe that so many Americans are this arrogant, narcissitic, and apathetic, to actually buy into this Social Security scam and all the rest of the lies. I am shocked almost daily of what many people's perceptions are and the manner in which they express them. I can't even listen to C-Span's Washington Journal anymore, because when I hear just how ignorant most of the callers are, I just get pissed. There's nothing more disgusting to me than that arrogant ignorant Americans who get all chesty and bent out of shape, and they're dead wrong! Only Americans can be so arrogant and so wrong all at the same time. Ya know what I mean?
