"Thank you, Mr. President"

I only caught a part of the press conference, but I heard each reporter say this before asking the question. I don't recall hearing this in other press conferences. Is it a new required protocol? If so, I can hardly wait until they have to genuflect before speaking.

originally he wanted them to say, "Thank You, oh, powerful one." this was the compromise.

the man cannot speak,,,, I especially hate his sanctimonious little chuckle,,,, he's been reframing the questions more ~ "what you really meant to ask,,,,"
