Bernie Ward to debate Ann Coulter this hour on Blitzer

Last week, Bernie said it would be about 9:30 Pacific Time. Blitzer just announced it. So, I guess they're on. I hope they touch on the "news conference".

Last time, Bernie wiped the floor with Armstrong Williams. Said he was looking forward to today.

I love him...he kicks ass. Coulter might have to defend her view by making fun of his weight..cheap shots are her forte.

I can't wait for the bitch-slapping to begin!

He might stop her in her tracks if she makes broad statements about "liberals" and ask her to define "liberal".

And he also said he wouldn't ler her tell "the big lie" and get away with it.

He also said that he was going to be on vacation this week from his radio program. But he asked listeners to send him emails critiquing how he did on the program. And also asked that we write to CNN and ask them to have Bernie on more often.

He was so good when he was on with Williams, I wrote to Blitzer. When Williams could get nowhere, he called Bernie "bitter". And Bernie said you're darned right I'm bitter about the war and the waste of lives - something like that. He didn't back down one bit but went right at Williams and even Blitzer said there was no proof that Iraq had anythng to do with 9/11. They were on for 20 minutes.

I like Bernie Ward and take every opportunity to watch him debate with right wingers.

He's not of the machine.

He'll let Ann spew any venom she wants, but he'll interrupt Bernie everytime he tries to make a point. That's the way he operates. Just watch. I hope Bernie can get his point over anyway.

That was when Bernie was on with Williams. Wolf actually agreed with Bernie and pressed the issue about how Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Even Ward commented on it during his radio program that night. So, we'll see if Wolf got the memo.

Bernie won't let it happen! If anything they will cut to a commercial. The Lion is too strong and will devour the he-she!

Bernie - He would like to see democracy in Iraq without the hell they're in now. But he doesn't see it happening. He sees civil war. He also sees a gov't closely aligned with Iran.

Ann - From 9/11 lots of carping, pessimism from the left. Bernie said she was right because of how things are happening.

What is the name of this particular show? I don't have cable, and I dont want it. But I assume there will be a transcript available.

I listen to the Lion of the Left every night. He and Ray Taliaferro( who follows Bernie) are the the strongest spokespeople for the left.

They made a big fuss over that when Saddam was captured. "See? They thought we couldn't get him!" I was surprised they didn't get him immediately -- the question wasn't that it'd be easy to topple Saddam, it was what would come *afterwards.* And people who said it'd be a big mess were completely correct.

Much of what I got was that Ann couldn't go into her bullshit too much. Bernie is just too sharp and doesn't waste his words. She even tried her old nonsense of not being able to speak and it fell on deaf ears. After seeing Bernie on Wolf twice now, he's taken his side over the wingnut guest both times. Bernie has his facts and arguments too tightly prepared is my guess as to a reason why.
