If you knew an asteroid was going to wipe out life on earth in 3 years...
what would you do? How would you live your life?

There would probably be such mass chaos that we couldn't do anything fun anyway, so I just might launch a three-year sexfest.

3. Why worry
the BFEE will devastate the Earth before an asteroid does.

4. I have probably $100K in credit
I would avail myself of same and have a blast. We are here to appreciate the good and beautiful while it is here. I'm pretty cheap and could easily do a Round the World trip if I didn't have to worry about paying back the money I borrowed on my massive four figure annual income.

I don't think there would be mass chaos, as the "sensible people" would simply dismiss the chances of the asteroid hitting the earth as a nuttie conspiracy theory and it would be business for usual.

16. This is what I would do too.
Life was meant to be enjoyed! I would see all the sights and spend lots and lots of time with friends and family. I would make sure THEY became my priority in life, not my GD bills! That is exactly why our government would never tell us if they detected something like that. They would want us to continue to feed their greed so THEY could have all the fun and we would just be clueless. I try every day to keep in mind that tomorrow may never be. The fact of the matter is anyone of us could stop breathing in the middle of the night, or die in a car wreck going to get milk at the local grocery store. Unfortunately, I have a nasty habit of trying to be responsible and make sure I pay my bills on time! What the heck is wrong with me that I just cannot get over the responsibility issue?

6. One of my practices
is to pretend that this day IS the last day of my life, and to act accordingly. I don't always get it right, like when I get angry at someone or something, but I do try to think a bit before I act.

8. You could at least opt
to not purchase "extended warranties" or caulk with a 25-year lifespan or something simple like that.

9. Then when the growing shadow loomed over you
you could feel like I did as the election returns came in. All that work for naught.

If you were successful, however, some of us would have MAJOR bills to pay off and a lot of explaining to do.

13. It's a good exercise to pretend this is true...
...and to keep in mind the thought behind Mark Twain's words:

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

15. I would totally go crazy
wouldn´t care about any rule ever again :silly: I´d drop out of school, rob a bank, I´d start shoplifting, partying all day long, doing drugs, steal a car, and drive around the world, and party in every single place I could. I would try to go to Africa, cause I wanna go there some day. Eat pizza for the rest of my life, kick the crap out of Bush with one of my hundred pairs of Jimmy Choo´s (which I bought with the money I stole from the bank), drink all day long.. I mean.. what police officer is gonna care when the world is about to end in three years? PAAAAARTY :silly:

17. Same wavelength....
Anything that has future ramifications becomes moot...Screw every credit card company, borrow as much as possible, etc.

But now you didn't say if everyone knew this or just a few...if everyone knew, I'm sure there would be no credit available, etc. So, it depends on scope of knowledge...either way live with no bonds...no retrebution...

23. Some astronaut was asked that question
a long time ago. What if the engine went off and you only had half an hour of life support left, what would you do?

His answer was "work on the engine."
