One of the great achievements of the PNAC fanatics is the identification

in the minds of ordinary Americans of American intersts with that of Israel.The PNAC document, in fact, makes it clear that is one of the goals of their organization. Even though the terrorist attacks within Israel had produced outrage among Americans, they had still maintained the notion that American and Israeli interests diverged.The 9/11 event, the New Pearl Harbor, called for in the PNAC document, erased that distinction.From here on,American and Israeli interests would be identical and Arabs would be excluded from any participation or access to American policymakers.The creation of the image of Arabs as "Terrorists" makes it virtually certain that no senator or congressman would dare to question America's Israel- leaning policy in the Middle East without severe repurcussions.

Even more important for our democratic institutions, the PNAC has managed to erase the distinctions between the two parties as seen by the list of participants in its organization. People like Hillary Clinton, Charles Schumer, John McCain are already on the band wagon despite the stonewalling of the 9/11 investigation,the fraudulent claims of WMD and the Iraq-AlQaeda connection and the yellowcake purchase from Niger.No serious examination of the PNAC has ever been conducted by our media nor have any of the above named worthies been asked for their opinions on this document. That document, for those not aware, calls for American Hegemony over the entire world,development of space based weapons and genetic warfare techniques that target specific genotypes in order to control "unruly populations".

That these issues were barely given attention during the elections says that both parties are now unanimous in their approval of the PNAC's agenda.That will be the order of the day for quite some time to come,IMO.

The neocons are running the show and we can't expect the Democrats or the media to do anything about it.

But it would take a real miracle for someone with the means and courage to step forth.

Oh wait, that would be before it was created.
