Bush to return to compassionate conservative
rhetoric or so it was stated this morning.

I think at this point it behooves us to examine the definition of the word rhetoric...

1 : the art of speaking or writing effectively: as a : the study of principles and rules of composition formulated by critics of ancient times b : the study of writing or speaking as a means of communication or persuasion
2 a : skill in the effective use of speech b : a type or mode of language or speech; also : insincere or grandiloquent language (this is the one I especially like in this instance)
3 : verbal communication : DISCOURSE

2. How many will really believe him?
He's even losing people who voted for him. His stated 2nd term agenda tells people everything they need to know about the man, along with his record. All the rhetoric in the world will not change that.

He is neither compassionate nor conservative.

5. How can you return to something you've never done?
When was Bush ever compassionalte? His dog is probably the only living being who has even known Bush to be kind. And dogs are so non-judgemental.

8. He's also a "reformer with results." Alliteration's just easier for him to
remember.
